Tates Onsite Services emblem — roofline, tools, and five stars

One stop for the whole job.

Tates Onsite Services is a general contractor for residential and commercial work in Louisville, Kentucky — renovation, remodeling, repairs, and project work, done in person and finished right.

Working in Louisville since 2012, we are the front door of Tate's One Stop: contracting on the front end, business consulting for people starting out, and a subcontracting arm that takes on the smaller projects — so whatever you are building, you start in one place.

General Contracting

Homes and businesses, one accountable crew. Tell us what the place needs — we walk it, scope it, put the work in writing, and see it through.

Residential

For homeowners and landlords across Louisville — from a single room to a whole-house rehab.

  • Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
  • Whole-home renovation and rehab projects
  • Repairs — the fix-it list that never gets shorter on its own
  • Flooring, painting, drywall, and finish carpentry
  • Fences, gates, and concrete pads
  • Turnover and make-ready work for rental properties
  • Project work — the one-off jobs that need a contractor, not a handyman hotline

Commercial

For businesses, property managers, and organizations that need work done on site, on schedule, and without drama.

  • Interior build-outs and tenant improvements
  • Renovation and remodeling of working spaces
  • Repairs and ongoing onsite facilities support
  • Painting, flooring, drywall, and carpentry
  • Punch-list and project completion work
  • Space refreshes between tenants or seasons
  • Project work scoped and managed end to end

Every job starts the same way: a walk-through, a written scope, and a detailed written estimate before work begins — so you know what is being done and what it costs before anyone picks up a tool.

Business Consulting

Starting a business is a construction project of its own — it goes better with a plan and somebody who has walked the route.

Starting a new business

We help you map the steps in the right order: choosing how the business is set up, the paperwork Kentucky and Louisville actually require, the accounts and records to open first, and the pieces people usually miss until they cost money.

Finding ways to fund it

We help you sort out the funding routes worth pursuing — loans, credit lines, grants, and community programs — and get your paperwork organized so you can walk through those doors prepared.

Straight talk: we are guides, not lenders. Nobody honest can promise funding or approvals — what we can do is help you get organized, avoid the common traps, and pursue the right routes in the right order.

Subcontracting — The Smaller-Job Arm

Tates Onsite Services works in partnership with Rehab Construction & Remodeling Co. as part of one general contractor group. When a project is smaller than Rehab's plate — a repair run, a single-room job, a punch list — it flows to us, and it gets the same care as the big work.

For general contractors

Overflow and smaller scopes you need covered without pulling your own crews off the main job. Send it our way — we take it on as our own and report back like it.

For property owners

A job that feels too small for a big contractor is exactly our size. One call, one crew, one written estimate — no job-too-small brush-off.

Also, on the side

Two doors worth knowing about — quieter than the contracting work, but open.

Become an Estimator

Our estimating runs on Universal Estimator Pro, the estimating platform built in-house. If you can read a job and price it honestly, there is a path to work as an estimator with us.

Need an app built?

Application development runs through Tate Built, our in-house technology arm — the same team behind the tools our own businesses run on.

Get a Ballpark

Not ready for a full estimate? Describe the work in your own words and our research desk will look into what a job like yours should cost. You get a ballpark range — the lowest it could reasonably run to the highest it should — so you can plan before you commit to a walk-through.

A ballpark is a planning range, not a quote. A real number still takes a walk-through and a written scope — but a ballpark tells you whether the project is worth scoping at all.
